The owners of this kitchen were looking for a more updated look with a better flow. The old kitchen was a confined space with not much of a connection with the rest of the living area. We opened it up by adding an island with custom accents and also a separate bar area that can be used to set out appetizers or fix drinks. The microwave was put above the range to save space, but the cabinet above was made to look like a decorative hood.
