Shorewood Hills Tudor Home Traditional Kitchen Remodel
DWith a nod to the classic architecture of this elegant Tudor home and open arms to embrace modern kitchen conveniences, this kitchen remodel is a real home delight. The tight feel of the original Tudor home kitchen needed to be reworked to improve the flow and layout and to give a feeling of greater space. To do this the original doorways were reconfigured, creating an instant improvement. White shaker cabinets never fail when it comes to visually opening a space and the addition of granite countertops and cracked glaze subway tiles grounds the look and plays nicely with the reflective qualities of the stainless steel appliances. And speaking of the appliances, Sub-zero and Wolf appliances were used to give the home chef top-of-the-line tools. The stainless steel farm sink and custom walnut butcher block counter add a touch of quaint charm with functionality. The island has a beverage center with open display shelving for convenience and small gatherings. The dark stain contrasts nicely with the white surrounding cabinets and the addition of corbels and bun feet create a sweet hutch-look. Polished nickel pendant lights illuminate the space perfectly.
